Glasgow police perform controlled explosion on car

GLASGOW (Reuters) - The bomb squad blew up a suspicious vehicle at a hospital near Glasgow on Sunday in a controlled explosion and police said the vehicle was linked to an attack on Glasgow airport on Saturday.
One of two suspects detained after the attack on Glasgow's airport was being treated at the hospital.
The police said there was no indication the vehicle contained any explosives, but said it had been destroyed as a precautionary measure. "It is believed that this car is connected to yesterday's incident at Glasgow international airport," the police said.
